The Indianola girls cross country team placed 2nd at Ballard Monday, while the boys placed 15th, and the Indians boys golfers were in Ames where they collected an 11th place finish.

Gracie Foster had a meet championship as she ran 19:25.1 to place first overall, Jordyn Brown was just behind in 10th place, Hadley Erickson was in 15th, and Leah Hartford earned a 19th place finish as Indianola earned four top-20 finishes. On the boys side, Isaiah Thomsen had the best day in 75th place, Noah Kjellberg placed 99th, and Sam Nochvay was in 100th to round out the top finishers.

The Indianola boys golfers shot a team score of 329 at the Ames Invite. Jackson Buchanan had the best day for the Indians shooting a 77 to tie for 9th, Graham Hilton carded an 80, Tyler Santi shot an 83, and Gio Richardson earned an 89. The team hits the links again Thursday at Marshalltown.
