The PCM volleyball team will square off against Heart of Iowa Conference opponent Greene County tonight in their home opener.
Despite essentially being at the halfway point of the season, the Mustang volleyball team will have their first opportunity to play in front of the home crowd. This is one of only three home matches this year for PCM. The Mustangs last match was a loss to Perry last Tuesday, which dropped PCM to 0-1 in the Conference and 7-7 overall on the season.
Tonight’s match has the makings as an offensive battle as the top four kill leaders from the conference will be featured. PCM’s Rebecca De Vries is currently second and Reese Palm is fourth in the conference for the statistical category.
Tonight’s varsity match in Monroe starts at 7:20 pm.
