The Kiwanis Club of Indianola is hosting their 56th annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, raising funds for Kiwanis programs that support local students. Susan Glick with Kiwanis tells KNIA News over the years she’s gotten to see children attend the event who are now bringing their children for the breakfast, and each year there seems to be multiple reunions for those who haven’t gotten a chance to see each other for the past year.

“It’s always fun to see people and how they react when they see somebody they haven’t seen in a long time. Maybe a whole year since the last time. They just enjoy catching up, sitting together, and just enjoy the visit, having their pancakes, and supporting the projects that we do in the community.”
