The 2A 11th ranked Pella Christian boys cross country team and the 15th ranked girls squad each took fourth at the Oskaloosa Invite.
The Eagle boys finished with 106 points on the day, while the girls posted 125 points in the meet. For the first time in his high school career, junior Deacon Branderhorst led the Pella Christian boys across the finish line, claiming 13th place in 18:13. Tysen De Vries also cracked the top 15 for the Eagle boys, finishing in 15th in a time of 18:15.8. For the Pella Christian girls, Bailey Vos and Jaclyn Holmes each finished inside the top 10. Vos came in seventh place with a time of 21:38.2, while Holmes wasn’t far behind in 9th place and a time of 22:17.8.
