The Marching Band competition season is drawing near, and while the Pella Marching Dutch won’t be in competition until the last day of the month, they have two community performances coming up.

Drum Majors Stephen Gaul, Tess Hopkins, Karsyn Lyons, and Josie Boll say the 200+ member band has been working at the end of their summer break into the school year to put together “Wild,” which features new movements, unconventional marching music, and unique uniforms.

The first full show will be held at 8 p.m. this Saturday at Pella High School.
