The Pella Library, in collaboration with Swiss storyteller coach, Joel Blom, has announced its first open-mic StorySLAM event. The theme of the night is “coming home.”

A StorySLAM is an opportunity for anyone with a true story to share around the night’s theme. Stories should be five minutes or less and true, as recalled by the storyteller. Audience feedback and moderated discussion is encouraged.

The StorySLAM will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19th in Room 206 of the Pella Community Center (712 Union Street).
