The 2023 Tracy Festival will be held later this week on Saturday and Sunday
Saturday’s activities include a vendor fair, porch pot class, bring your own bullfrog race, kids tractor pull, three concerts and more. On Sunday, a community church service will be held at 10:30 a.m., with a potluck following the service to conclude the weekend’s events. The festival was a yearly event that began in 1975, and it was held every year until 2008. The Tracy Festival returned in 2017 and Committee Member Tyler Christian says that it was a community effort to bring back the festival.
“Tracy is a small town but has always been a close knit community. There were lots of kids and families that hadn’t had the chance to experience the festival because it was the next generation. So, a group of past and present Tracy residents got together and decided to kick off the festival again in 2017.”
