Pleasantville and Melcher-Dallas High Schools will hold their homecoming court coronations tonight.

Pleasantville’s homecoming events tonight start with a parade at 6 p.m. At the conclusion of the parade, there will be a pep rally, the king and queen coronation, and powder puff football games. The homecoming dance will take place in the high school cafeteria on Friday night after the Trojans football game against Sigourney Keota.

Melcher-Dallas will hold a jersey auction and booster club membership drive tonight from 5-7 p.m. The king and queen coronation is set to follow the auction and drive at 7 p.m. A pep rally will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, and a parade is set for 2 p.m. The homecoming dance at the high school will wrap up the week’s festivities after the Saints football game against Lamoni at 7 p.m. Friday night.

The 2023 homecoming court for Pleasantville High School includes:

Brayden Kennedy, Dominic Gooch, Eli Dawson, Carter Bingham, Jury Ellis, Trent Jolly, and Caleb Cook, Juanita Lopez, Lillian Mason, Ella Clark, Leah Adreon, Rhya Cowden, Madilyn Rowson, and Mallory Thorpe. 

This year’s homecoming court at Melcher-Dallas High School includes:

Crownbearers River Miller and Gage Ripperger

Freshmen attendants – Emma Ripperger and Leo Schrader

Sophomore attendants – Sophie Lamb and Gavyn Thordarson

Junior attendants – Haylie Hendrickson and Ryan Heaton

Senior King Candidates – Kael Caikoski, Mason DeJong, Zeb Enfield, Trevor Hoch and Kyle Russell

Senior Queen Candidates – Paetyn Anderson, Kamryn Hendrickson, Karsyn Mateer, Brooklyn Metz and Alyse Wadle.
