For the first time in recent memory, and maybe ever, the Bluegrass Conference will have a cross country meet with a team champion. Melcher-Dallas is not looking at the team title, since the Saints do not have enough runners to score for either boys or girls. However, Coach Amy Stuart tells KNIA Sports her runners already are looking at that meet as a chance to have success.

Stuart: “We can hope because we have a little history we would have shot at finishing our conference meet at the top individually, so we will see how that pans out.”

The next meet for Melcher-Dallas will be today at the MoHawk Invitational hosted by Moravia at The Preserve at Honey Creek Resort.
