Pleasantville football senior Jury Ellis wears two different hats for Friday night Trojan home football games.
Ellis, who was voted as a captain this year, is a two way player that is talented on both the offensive and defensive line. He helps keep the offense and defense in rhythm throughout the season, but he also keeps the Pleasantville Marching Band in rhythm at halftime of games. Ellis is the drum major for the band, along with being a workhorse on the football field. He carries a love for football, but also keeps his music talents as a priority as well. While his teammates are getting some much needed rest in the locker room, Jury is directing the marching band.
Ellis will be featured again this Friday night at the homecoming football game when Pleasantville takes on Sigourney-Keota at 7:00 pm.
