Candidates for local area city council and school board races have filed their papers to run in the November 7th election.

Candidates for city council in the cities of Bussey, Hamilton, Harvey, Marysville, and Swan will all run unopposed. In Pleasantville five candidates filed to fill the three at-large spots on the council. Candidates running for Pleasantville City Council are:

Brandon Pennington
Kyle Patterson
Rachel Lopez

The Melcher-Dallas City Council has four candidates running for three at-large spots. The candidates in Melcher-Dallas are:

David Johnson
Mark Herold
Leonard Mason
Dalton Lovell

For school board elections, Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas each have four candidates running for three at-large positions. Candidates for Twin Cedars are:

Casey Crozier
MaKenzie Burk
Mike Weldon
Jade Mockenhaupt

The four candidates for Melcher-Dallas school board are:

Matt Bennett
Allen Rogers
Dean Lewin
Jill Benz
