Pleasantville and Melcher-Dallas High Schools crowned their homecoming royalty Thursday night.
Caleb Cook and Madilyn Rowson from the Class of 2024 will serve as homecoming king and queen at Pleasantville through tonight’s football game against Sigourney Keota and the dance after the game. After the ceremony Thursday, Caleb and Madilyn said it was an honor to be selected to the royal court by their peers.
Caleb: “It’s just really cool that my classmates look at me that way and that I can be someone who everybody likes, and to be on the same level as Madilyn, who’s someone that everybody respects and loves.”
Madilyn: “It’s just really impactful because I feel like I tried to be nice to everyone.”
