Dakota Ramsey and Faith Roozeboom are the 2023 Knoxville homecoming king and queen.
The announcement of the king and queen was made at a homecoming pep rally held at Ken Locke Stadium Thursday evening. Dakota says he’s thankful to have been chosen with Faith.
“It was very, very stressful because us being together and being a couple it’s like what if she wins and I don’t but us winning together means a ton just for life in general because she’s going to be my partner for life so winning together is just awesome.”
Both Faith and Dakota are staples at Knoxville High School and are involved with countless activities and athletics. Faith talked about the importance of enjoying homecoming week when you can.
“I just think there are only four of them and after that you just don’t have them anymore. Participate in everything you can. It’s just a lot of fun.”
Knoxville will face Atlantic tonight in their homecoming football game, which can be heard on 95.3 KNIA
