Knoxville Aviation is seeking volunteers for the Knoxville Airshow and Family Festival happening next Saturday.
There are a variety of shifts and jobs available to volunteer for on both Friday, September 29th and Saturday, September 30th. The event is free to the public and needs the support of community volunteers to make sure everything runs smoothly. Knoxville Mayor Brian Hatch says events like this are what bring people into town.
“Any time we have events like this it just brings people into town. It makes us a destination. We’re significant and It brings that excitement in and gives people something to do and something to see.”
Those interested in volunteering can sign up here. You are asked to include what shift or shifts you would be available to work in the form.
