Melcher-Dallas Hold Homecoming Against Lamoni Tonight

It is homecoming week for Melcher-Dallas and the Saints will host Lamoni to bring down the curtain on this week of activities. The Saints lost to Twin Cedars last week for the first time in six seasons and look to the Demons for their first win of the season. The high flying Demons have already rolled up over 1300 total yards and a lot of that on the ground courtesy of Quarterback Ambrose Savage. Coach Pat Ferguson tells KNIA Sports that is who they are keying on even though Lamoni is low on numbers.

Ferguson: “I know they have that Ambrose Savage kid and he was tough to stop. They were down on numbers with about 12 a couple of years ago, but they had 12 football players, so there’s a difference from having 12 football players on your team.”)

In a loss, Melcher-Dallas’s Reece Chiabotta was able to throw for 126 yards and three touchdowns and run for another 80. Kickoff from the Melcher-Dallas Athletic Complex is set for 7:00.
