Simpson College is #1 among Iowa private colleges and #5 overall in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best Regional Colleges Midwest Rankings released today. Simpson’s Midwest honors also included a #5 ranking among “Best Value Schools.”

Simpson also received a #16 ranking for “Top Performers on Social Mobility,” which measures a school’s support for economically disadvantaged students. In all, 83 Midwest Regional Colleges were evaluated in the U.S. News & World Report rankings.

Earlier this year, Simpson earned 4.5 out of 5 stars in the 2023 Best Colleges in America ratings by Money.com. The high marks are based on 24 factors encompassing educational quality, affordability, and outcomes.
