A double-feature for the fall sports teams in green and white is scheduled today. The #14 in 4A Pella volleyball team stays home to host Oskaloosa while the #1 in 3A girls and #2 in 3A boys cross country teams head east to Williamsburg.

This is the first time since the Heartland Classic that the defending state champions are competing on a course — that according to Head Coach Doug Cutler, is likely to showcase an increase in speed and decrease in times as the athletes prepare for the looming postseason, and also provides a chance to have competition for varsity spots on their own squads. Varsity races begin at 5 p.m. in Williamsburg.

At home, the Dutch girls are aiming to rebound after a five-set loss to ranked Norwalk last week in Little Hawkeye Conference action. This is the 2nd of 3rd consecutive Tuesdays Pella will host a league volleyball match. Varsity action starts at 7:15 this evening at Pella High School.
