The Marion County Auditor is now accepting absentee ballot request forms for the upcoming city school election on Tuesday, November 7th.
Registered voters may request an absentee ballot to be sent to them by mail. You can also download a ballot using this link. You must complete and return the original signed form to the Marion County Auditor’s Office by Monday, October 23rd at 5:00 pm. The first day the Auditor may mail Absentee ballots is Wednesday, October 18. This is the same day voters may begin voting in person at the Auditor’s office.
In person Absentee Ballot voting will continue until Monday, November 6, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. All Absentee Ballots, whether returning in person or by mail must be received in the Marion County Auditor’s Office by 8:00 p.m. on November 7th. Marion County Auditor Jake Grandia said his office is available for any assistance in the process.
“We want people to go out and if you have questions on that ahead of time give us a call with the process. That’s what we do. We administer the election, so if you have anything related to that, give us a call at the office here at the Marion County Auditor’s office.”
All countywide polling sites will be open on election day, November 7th, from 7:00 am-8:00 pm.
