The Pleasantville volleyball team fell in straight sets to Van Meter Tuesday night in a West Central Conference matchup. 

The Trojans dropped the first set of the night to the Bulldogs 25-16. Van Meter continued to dominate the match, defeating Pleasantville 25-15 in the second set. In the third set, Van Meter was able to close out the match with ease, defeating Pleasantville 25-10. The Trojans, who have been one of the hottest teams in the entire state recently, were just not able to find any offensive production. After the loss, Pleasantville fell to 18-7 overall on the season and 2-3 in the conference. 

The Trojans will be back in action at a home quadrangular Thursday night starting at 5:00 pm.
