Stepping Stones Early Learning Center in Knoxville received a $10,000 donation from Elmer “Jipe” Pearson, in memory of his wife, Evelyn, who passed in April. This donation is part of the continued effort to raise funds for Stepping Stones’ “STEP UP” capital campaign, which hopes to raise $600,000. The funds raised through the capital campaign will be used to eliminate mortgage payments for the center and allow funds to be redirected towards ongoing costs and improvements.
