The final chances for volleyball teams to improve their record and standing in the postseason brackets comes this weekend into early next week, and for the #14 Pella girls, they will have to navigate a tough field of teams to do so.

The Dutch are heading to Urbandale, with an elite field of squads awaiting the green and white. Head Coach Sam Sheldon says among the schools they will compete with are #2 in 5A Ankeny Centennial, #1 in 3A Western Christian, and Southeast Polk. Any victories over the weekend may bolster Pella’s chances at getting a first round bye and an easier-to-navigate road to Coralville.

Matches begin at 9 a.m. Saturday.
