The Melcher-Dallas Football Squad will head to Moravia tonight. The Saints are winless on the season and have a tough task against one of the better teams in the eight-man class in the area. Coach Pat Ferguson tells KNIA Sports at this point in the season, he is looking at how much his team is growing and seeing small steps of progress.

Ferguson: “We know it’s going to be a tough task as is every week. But these kids have great character and a big heart. That may be more important than wins right now and when we talk about life lessons before and after the games.”

The Saints actually have a significant lead in the all-time series over Moravia according to B.C. Moore. Melcher-Dallas has a record of 20-6-1 against the MoHawks, including a 2-1 slate when it was Moravia/Moulton-Udell. However the MoHawks have won the last three meetings including the last time the teams met, a 68-18 win over the Saints in 2017.
