A resurgent offensive attack from the Central College men’s soccer team netted seven goals in a 7-0 win at Eureka College Thursday afternoon.

The Dutch moved to 4-3-2 on the season and ended a three-match losing streak. Central had scored just two goals in the previous four matches. It was Nolan Piedimonte who scored the opening goal just 2:51 into the contest, taking an assist from Coleman Manuel. Piedimonte recorded a brace with a penalty kick in the second half. Gabe Wilson also had a penalty kick for his first goal with the Dutch. He was one of three Dutch players to score their first collegiate goal after Evan Hackett and Carter Newhouse scored in the second half. Derek Beiner assisted Newhouse and Austin DeVilder assisted Hackett. Lay Doe Htoo and Spencer Taylor rounded out the scoring with Alejo Marcon assisting both. Goalkeeper Ronan Murphy made two saves while recording his second shutout.

Central returns to conference play Saturday against the University of Dubuque for a 4 p.m. match.
