The Twin Cedars Volleyball Squad was dominant in a three sets to none sweep of arch rival Melcher-Dallas on Thursday 25-17, 25-11 and 25-19. The Sabers controlled the match for the large portion of it and took firm control after jumping out to a 15-2 lead in the second set. The three seniors were huge for the Sabers as Jillian French put down six kills, Kenzyn Roberts had 15 digs and was 9/12 serving while Katra Sterner was 14/14 serving with two aces. French, Roberts and Sterner told KNIA/KRLS Sports it was fun beating their rivals on senior night.

Jillian: “I think our team’s energy and the gym’s energy really helped us.”
Kensyn: “That was fun. Everybody brought something to the table and everybody brought energy and it was fun, to beat Melcher on Senior Night.”
Katra: “That was obviously a great start, and super hype and screaming all match, the goal is to not have a voice at school tomorrow.”
