The combination of very warm temperatures, gusty southerly winds (up to 35 mph), low humidities (as low as 30%), and dry fuels is expected to lead to Very High Cropland Fire Danger levels on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
“Please do your part to prevent fire starts by avoiding/postponing brush/grass burning, using extra caution with heavy equipment, and do not carelessly discard cigarettes,” a statement read from the organization.
