As homecoming celebrations ramp up this week at Pella High School, the Pella Police Department is reminding everyone participating to enjoy festivities safely. Captain Paul Haase is hopeful those enjoying the festivities do so responsibly. Haase says they work with the schools each year to make sure the events surrounding homecoming — especially those that are unofficial, are done so in a safe manner.
