A Fire Prevention Week proclamation was read by Knoxville Mayor Brian Hatch at Monday night’s city council meeting ahead of next week’s fire prevention week.

The proclamation was handed to Knoxville Fire Chief Cal Wyman, and it gave reminders of the importance of fire safety in the community. Also at the meeting was the approval of two change orders from C.L Carroll in the amounts of $6,306 and $25,000 for the Water Reclamation UV Disinfection Project.
