The Knoxville Cross Country Squads faced stiff competition at the Centerville Invitational on Tuesday. The Panther boys were 7th overall, led over the line by Issac Rankin in 7th with a time of 16:59 while Cael Cook also had a good finish in 12th with a time of 17:20. On the girls side, the Panthers placed 13th overall with Janae Baker placing 55th with a time of 23:17. Melcher-Dallas was also at the meet and Addie Wadle was 38th in a time of 21:31 which was an all-time personal record and Trista Hansaker also set a new personal best of 25:54, while boys runner Austin Remster had a time of 23:31. Knoxville heads back to Honey Creek Resort for the South Central Conference Meet next Tuesday while Melcher-Dallas will attend the first ever Bluegrass Conference Meet Monday also at Honey Creek Resort.
