Pella Regional Health Center has welcomed Andrew (Andy) Johnson to the medical staff. Johnson specializes in pain management and treatment of headache disorders. He will practice at Pella Regional Medical Clinics in Pella and Ottumwa.

“Pain is something that affects so many. Low back pain and migraine are the top 2 causes of disability worldwide. If I can ease pain and allow individuals to be more active members of their family and society, I have accomplished my goal.”

Johnson earned his Master of Headache Disorders at the University of Copenhagen. This program emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of headaches. Johnson treats many pain conditions including acute, chronic, back and neck pain, nerve disorders, sports injuries, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, pre and post-surgical pain and more. Treatment plans may include medication management, therapeutic injections, inpatient pain services, infusions, and microlight therapy.
