The Central College men’s cross country team climbed in the US-FC-CCA Division III National Coaches’ Poll and now matches the Dutch women at No. 24 after the squads turned in promising showings last weekend.

Each team finished second at the Dan Huston Invitational in Waverly Saturday, and as a result, Central’s men soared eight spots and are up one spot to fifth in the Midwest Region. The Dutch women actually slipped a notch to No. 24 in Division III while holding steady at No. 4 in the Midwest Region. 

The Central cross country teams are off this weekend but has a big opportunity to improve its standing next week, taking on several ranked squads at the Connecticut College Invitational in New London, Connecticut Saturday, October 14th.
