Melcher-Dallas Hosts BGM Tonight

Injuries, and just not having the number of players to compete is making it tough for the Melcher-Dallas Football Squad to hang with the top teams in district play. Tonight will be no different as the Saints take on BGM. The Saints were held to just 38 yards of total offense in an 80-0 loss to Moravia last week play a team that has averaged nearly 79 points per game in its three wins. Saints Coach Pat Ferguson tells KNIA Sports it is business as usual for his team in preparing for tonight’s game.

Ferguson: “Work on snap counts, running crisp routes and things like that. It’s the same thing every week, we’re still teaching even when it gets to week 8 or 9.”

The Saints, according to B.C. Moore has an 0-2 record against the Bears losing both games in shutouts. Kick off from the Melcher-Dallas Sports Complex is set for 7:00.
