After a difficult loss to Newton that at least somewhat jeopardizes their playoff hopes heading into the homestretch of the regular season, the Pella football team is looking to take advantage of a struggling Hoover team on Homecoming today.

The Dutch are 3-3 and 1-1 in Class 4A District 4 and are aiming to make short work of a Huskies team that has been outscored by a combined 149-0 margin over the last three weeks and is 0-6 overall.

Pella Head Coach Jay McKinstrey hopes for a fast start and for his team to take full advantage to get needed rest and a reset ahead of a tough final two weeks ahead.
