An evident mismatch became even more apparent once the clock started as the Dutch rumbled by Hoover 54-8, in a homecoming game heard live on 92.1 KRLS Friday.

Pella scored 48 points in the first quarter, including a return TD, two defensive scores, three offensive touchdowns, and three safeties. The Dutch were on to their backups late in the 1st quarter after a Nate Warner pick-six.

Emmanuel Diers scored three touchdowns as his team celebrated homecoming throughout the evening. Pella moves to 4-3 and hosts the #3 in 4A Bluejays and district leaders from Bondurant-Farrar next Friday.
