Those diagnosed with breast cancer and their families are commemorating their fight against the disease this Sunday. Pella Regional Health Center is hosting the annual Pella in Pink this Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Cordova Shelterhouse at Lake Red Rock. Jenny Hesseltine with the Pella Regional Foundation says the event is a way to honor those impacted by breast cancer while also raising awareness and support for the diagnosis and treatment programs available locally.
