The nominees have been announced for the 2024 Tulip Queen and Royal Court. The following local high school seniors are eligible for the annual selection process:

Voting is open to any resident 17 and older living the borders of the Pella Community School District, and begins on Wednesday and continues until Tuesday, October 17th at 4:30 p.m.. Each ballot must be completed and signed and include three total nominees. The twelve finalists will be chosen and then announced shortly after. Ballots can be found in this week’s Town Crier and the Pella Historical Society website.

The 2024 Tulip Time Royal Court will then be chosen by a panel of judges on Saturday evening, November 11, 7 p.m. at Pella High School. Reserved tickets will be for sale for $8.50 online from November 3-10 at the Pella Historical website or by calling 641-628-4311, and at the door on November 11. Doors open at 6:15 pm. The event will be broadcast on 92.1 KRLS, with Let’s Talk Pella the following Monday featuring the five court members.
