Women in Mahaska and Marion counties and the surrounding area can learn more about niche farming businesses at the next local Women, Land & Legacy meeting in Pella in November.

The event will run on Saturday, November 4th from 9–11 a.m. at the Graham Annex at Central College and will showcase local women farmers, their business, and products to those in attendance. Attendees can visit with exhibitors from 9-10 a.m. From 10-11 a.m. there will be a panel discussion for an audience Q&A and conversations about niche farming opportunities. The goals of the event are to provide an opportunity for women to connect and network with other women, share resources and experiences, and learn about different business ventures in agriculture.

The event is free and open to the public, and women are strongly encouraged to attend. Registration is not required.
