A Knoxville man was arrested on one count of sexual abuse and one count of possession of a controlled substance on Tuesday.

Just after 10:30 p.m. Monday night, a Knoxville Police Sergeant returned a call to a female in reference to a possible sexual assault. The caller reported that she was approached by the male suspect via Snapchat. The suspect allegedly offered to pay the female $100 for a video call, and during the video call, he began speaking about and sending videos of sexual acts he allegedly had performed on minors. The female sent the videos to Law Enforcement, who verified they were authentic. Just before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, Knoxville Officers executed a search warrant at an apartment at 302 South 4th Street and arrested 29 year-old Justin Castro. During a search of the apartment, officers allegedly found marijuana located in a dresser drawer in the master bedroom. 

Castro is charged with sexual abuse in the 2nd degree, a class B felony, and possession of a controlled substance – marijuana 1st offense, a serious misdemeanor.
