Norwalk junior Emma Sizemore was part of four first-place finishes on Tuesday night as the Des Moines Lincoln girls swim team defeated Hoover in a dual meet 144-26.

Sizemore is one of seven Norwalk girls that compete for the Rails, along with Camrie Niemeyer, Riley Samuelson, Mallory Betts, Hannah LeFleur, Hannah Smith and Kinsley Stumbaugh.

Sizemore won the 200-yard freestyle race in 2:09.9 as well as the 100 backstroke in 1:10.11. She also swam a leg of the first-place 200 freestyle relay, which included Samuelson, and the 400 freestyle relay.

Norwalk girls placing second for Lincoln in individual events were Smith in the 200 freestyle, Stumbaugh in the 200 IM, Niemeyer in 1-meter diving and Betts in both the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke.

The Rails have a dual record of 8-2 and have also won a triangular while placing first in their home tournament in September.
