Hailey Kowzan put the Storm on the board less than a minute into the game and the Simpson College women’s soccer team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan, improving to 5-0-0 inside Buxton Stadium. Kowzan and Brissa Valadez scored in the first half, with Julia Wagoner scoring in the 2nd. The Storm are now 11-1-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

The Storm men’s soccer squad had to hold on for a 2-1 win over the Prairie Wolves, with Zach Kline finding the back of the net in the second half after a scoreless first, then Ronaldo Ordaz-Zambrano put them up 2-0. The Prairie Wolves didn’t give up however, putting a goal in with just 10 minutes to go, but the Storm held on. They are now 6-7 overall and 3-1 in conference play. Both teams travel to Loras on Saturday.
