The Pella Community Food Shelf is gathering supplies soon for its annual Thanksgiving program. Executive Director Melissa Zula has called the effort one of her favorite initiatives for the non-profit organization as several churches and others purchase large quantities of holiday staples and bring them together at the Pella Food Shelf for families to have in November.
