Battling through a sluggish night, the Central College volleyball team outlasted Hamline University (Minn.) 25-17, 14-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-12 on Friday.

Senior middle hitter Elyse Johnson had 11 kills on just 23 swings while not making an error. She was also in on three blocks. Outside hitter Leslie Snow had a team-high 16 kills to go with 21 digs. Libero Colleen Kenney and setter Avery Rexroat both had 24 digs to lead the Dutch. Rexroat’s 42 assists also paced Central while securing her eighth double-double of the season.

The Dutch are at North Central University (Minn.) Saturday for a triangular with Lawrence University (Wis.) and North Central starting at 11 a.m.
