The Indianola City Council meets in regular session Monday evening. The council will consider an ordinance vacating right-of-way for an alley, and the second consideration of an ordinance amending sections of the City Code for the purpose of increasing the compensation of the Mayor, City Council Members, and Members of the Indianola Municipal Utility (IMU) Board of Trustees. The council will also consider ordinances adding residency requirements, and amending Dangerous or Vicious Animals definitions, before going into closed session to discuss matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent, in addition to the purchase or sale of particular real estate.

Before the meeting, the council will meet in a work session to discuss the distribution of hotel/motel tax revenue and parking around the square. The work session begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
