The PCM and Pleasantville boys and girls cross country teams will compete at their state qualifying meets on Thursday.

The Trojans will be running in the Class 1A State Qualifying meet at Central Decatur which will feature 20 teams. The Pleasantville boys will compete against #6 ranked Madrid, #13 ranked Ankeny Christian, and 20th ranked Martensdale St. Mary’s. On the girls side, the Trojans will face #1 Madrid, and #15 Central Decatur. 

The Mustangs will run at the Class 2A State Qualifying meet at Pella Christian against 14 teams. The PCM boys will contest with top ranked Des Moines Christian, #3 Chariton, #15 Pella Christian, and #16 Clarinda. The #15 in 2A PCM girls will compete in a field that features #2 Albia, #4 Des Moines Christian, #16 Clarinda, and #20 Pella Christian. 

Both State Qualifying meets for the PCM and Pleasantville cross country team are scheduled to start at 4:00 pm on Thursday.
