
The PCM volleyball team hosts Chariton tonight in the quarterfinals of the Class 3A Region 6 tournament.
The Mustangs closed out the regular season on Thursday night, falling in a 3-0 sweep to Class 4A #9 Nevada. PCM enters the postseason with a 17-13 overall record and will look to begin a deep playoff tonight against the 8-19 Chargers. The Mustangs and Chariton have only played once in the Bound era, which went in favor of the Mustangs in 2015. The match favors PCM in nearly every statistical category, especially offensively. PCM finished the regular season with 608 kills as a team compared to just 294 from the Chargers. The Mustangs also have 215 serve aces to the 99 of Chariton.
