The Pleasantville football team finished the regular season with three straight shutouts. 

The Trojans head into the playoffs  with a 5-3 overall record and a 3-2 mark in district play. Over the final three weeks of the regular season, Pleasantville outscored their opponents 133-0 and will look to keep the momentum going into postseason play. The Trojans, who finished third in Class 1A District 6, begin their playoff journey on the road at West Branch Friday night. Facing the 5-3 Bears, the Pleasantville defense will try to make it four consecutive shutouts. Leading the way to the Trojans’ defensive success has been  senior Caleb Cook with 37 total tackles, and sophomore Logan Roff with five interceptions, which is tied for first in class 1A. 

Pleasantville’s first round playoff game  at West Branch Friday night is slated to kick off at 7:00 pm.
