The Knoxville Public Library is holding their monthly international film fan club viewing tonight.
This club meets once a month at the library to view a different international film in a group setting. The library has shown a wide variety of movies from all over the globe, and tonight’s showing is called “Storm Boy” which is an Australian drama film. The club provides an opportunity for members of the community to gather together and watch a movie that they normally wouldn’t get to see in US theaters. Knoxville Public Library Adult Services Librarian Heather Libby invites the public to join them.
“We won’t have to rely on subtitles this month. We will be watching an Australian film called Storm Boy. It is about a young boy who finds a stork in a storm and raises it. It should be fun. Bring your favorite snacks and join us for a relaxing evening.”
The event will start at 6:00 pm and everyone is welcome.
