The Pella Christian volleyball season came to an end Wednesday night in the quarterfinals of the Class 2A Region 3 Tournament, falling in a 3-0 sweep to #15 Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.

The Eagles jumped out to an early 7-4 lead to start the match against the ranked Rockets, but after battling back and forth, EBF bounced back to take the first set 25-23. The Rockets controlled much of the second set, taking it 25-14, before ending the match with a 25-19 win in set three. Chloe Huisman posted 13 digs and 16 assists in the loss, while Maggie Heinen and Annika Van Dyke led the team with 6 kills each. 

The Pella Christian volleyball team ends the season with a 17-21 record overall and graduates five seniors in Ema Zula, Hattie Fancher, Emerson De Vries, Annika Van Dyke, and Dani Roose.
