It’s win or go home for the Pella football team as they clash with district opponent Gilbert for one of the four at-large postseason spots available in Class 4A. While there’s a backdoor chance for the Dutch to earn a 2nd place finish in the district, their most likely road to the final 16 would start with a win against a 6-2 Tigers team that has run into tougher waters against the elite of the district after a 6-0 start.

Pella will ride its high octane passing attack against a Tigers team that aims to grind the clock out with ball control, led by Will Hawthorne and his nearly six yards per carry. The winner of tonight’s contest will likely find themselves in the Class 4A postseason as an at-large team.
