Candi’s Flowers in Knoxville celebrated 40 years in business Friday with a full day of events, and a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting.

The flower shop, located on the east side of the Knoxville square, has been a staple for fresh cut flowers in Knoxville and all of Marion County for four decades. The celebration on Friday consisted of a regular store opening, a customer appreciation lunch with free hamburgers, live prize drawings, and live music by Neva Alden ,and Steve McLain. Shop owner Candi Stickle expressed gratitude for the community.

“I appreciate Knoxville and all patrons and community. If anyone ever needs anything or any help doing anything I’m always there. All you have to do is give me a call.”

Candi’s Flowers is located at 101 S 3rd St. in Knoxville.
