A Knoxville man has been arrested on three felony controlled substance violations. 

According to court records, on October 19th at approximately 1:30 pm, MINE detectives along with Knoxville Police Department officers, executed a search warrant at 1002 N Depot Street in Knoxville. During the search, a crystalline substance was located in the closet of a bedroom that Scott Leeper was  allegedly located in. The substance was field tested and confirmed to be methamphetamine. In an interview with police, the 55-year-old is reported to have admitted to selling methamphetamine.

Leeper also allegedly sold methamphetamine to a law enforcement official on September 20th. The law enforcement official reportedly purchased 3.49 grams of methamphetamine from an individual identified as Leeper, and the buy was completed using a confidential source. Leeper is also being charged in regards to a search warrant executed on March 26th where officers discovered 5.6 grams of methamphetamine at the residence. 

Leeper faces two class C and one Class B controlled substance violation felonies, and is being held in the Marion County Jail on a $25,000 bond. Leeper is due in court for an initial appearance on Thursday.
